XYZFind Corp. Inks OEM Contract with mindwrap, inc. August 20, 2000 XYZFind Corp., developers of a new search and query engine for XML content, announced an OEM agreement with mindwrap, inc., an industry leader in digital content management solutions. Announced at XML World in Boston, the agreement enables mindwrap to include the XYZFind XML search engine as an integrated component of its Optix application development and deployment platform. By integrating the XYZFind engine into Optix, mindwrap immediately addresses the need for intelligent, context-aware search and query over the rapidly expanding universe of XML data. "mindwrap is strongly committed to XML and found that the traditional full-text search engines used for unstructured documents didn't exploit the context inherent in XML documents," said Craig Landrum, CTO at mindwrap. "We began a systematic search to find the best XML search and query technology available and found XYZFind. The product's ability to search and query heterogeneous XML content without complicated database transformations makes it a powerful addition to Optix". "Without doubt, one of the biggest challenges ahead for everyone in the document and content management arena is enabling intelligent, yet easy to deploy access to the coming proliferation of XML content," said Thomas Marvin CEO of XYZFind Corp. "We're very pleased to see that mindwrap chose XYZFind."
