mindwrap's OPTIX Available on GSA

Optix® Document Management and Workflow System products, training, and related services now available on GSA contract GS-35F-0394M.

Flint Hill, VA, February 8, 2002 – mindwrap announced today that that its Optix Document Management and Workflow products are now available via GSA contract GS-35F-0394M. All products, training, services, and maintenance may be quickly and easily ordered by authorized government agencies by visiting Mindwrap’s website and clicking on the GSA Advantage logo.

Delivered as a fully functional and highly integrated solution, Optix is much faster to deploy than complicated “developer kits” that require extensive design and programming. Installation and training times are typically measured in days instead of months. Optix empowers system administrators and end users with a rich set of interactive, easy-to-use tools to quickly create and deploy new custom document repositories and workflows without programming. Document repositories and workflows are immediately available for use by end users on Optix thick and thin clients.

Optix supports the entire line of Fujitsu scanners as well as selected Canon, Kodak, Vidar, and Mekel models. Unlike vendors that require the purchase of “dongles” and charge on a per-page basis, Optix scanner drivers allow unlimited scanning with extensive support for features such as Patch Cards, named and saved scanner setups, imprinters, and customized interfaces that leverage scanner hardware features.
