mindwrap's OPTIX® Powers Customer Supports for Weir Slurry

Optix® Document Management System to provide automated order and email processing to support customer service.

Flint Hill, VA, October 14, 2002 – mindwrap announced today the installation of an OPTIX Document Management System at Weir Slurry Division (www.weirslurry.com) of Madison, Wisconsin. Weir Slurry is recognized worldwide as the leading manufacturer of slurry pumps. The new system will allow customer service representatives to greatly reduce response time for client inquiries.

The Linux/Oracle -based Optix Server accepts customer order confirmations in PCL format from Weir Slurry’s existing AS/400 server. Customer forms are automatically indexed and converted to TIFF image files stored in Optix. E-mail inquiries from clients are detected, indexed, and also stored in Optix, allowing customer service representatives to quickly call up a client’s order and all related correspondence files when responding to inquiries.
