New Optix 6 release enhances web-based document management capabilities for the education market with support for the J2EE environment, Java document and annotation viewing applets, and XML indexing, search, and retrieval

Flint Hill, VA, October 1, 2001 – mindwrap announced that it will be demonstrating version 6 of its Optix Digital Content Management and Workflow System at a number of upcoming fall education conferences. The new version enhances existing web capabilities with the addition of XML indexing, search, and retrieval; support for the industry standard J2EE Environment; and new Java document and annotation viewing applets.

Delivered as a fully-functional and highly integrated solution, Optix is typically much faster to deploy than complicated "toolkits" that require extensive and costly development. Installation and training times are usually measured in days instead of months.
